- Treat this interview as a conversation- Using this approach allows my personality to show, I’m able to inform the hiring manager of my experience and learn about the company mission and values.
- Prepare Questions- Research questions to ask the hiring manager shows your researching abilities, and critical thinking skills. Choose unique questions to learn about the company culture, ask about the job vacancy, and get to know the hiring manager more.
- Follow Up with a thank you email – Using this approach will leave a lasting impression. Hiring managers interview multiple people daily so stand out. Even if you don’t get a reply at least you know you did a follow up.
